We're BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK. Since I won a voucher from them on instagram I decided to give them another chance. and since I've spammed pictures of the place before on a previous post I decided to avoid that now. Pictures of the food we ordered you say? why didn't you say so! Suffice to say they earned us back as customers that'll be popping by in the near future.  Side note, the lau su fen was missing something, kinda under seasoned, but overall good, great actually! Been wanting to try this place out since it opened. and heres a detailed review of what was good and what was not. First lets introduce the space.      So lets talk about the desserts I ordered, yes plural because I ordered more than one, THREE to be exact. This shaved ice dessert was not good, the kidney beans tasted like actual kidneys, it didnt have matcha like the menu specified, the perarls were hard, the jelly tasted like the tin variety and the taro balls and sweet potato balls were overcooked. The waffle was GREAT, super crispy, they were generous with the amount of mango chunks they gave. Their shibua honey toast was nice, not that suitable for diabetics though but a little treat once in a while never hurt nobody.  Would we come back again, maybe.  Did we have a great experience, not really and it wasn't because of the place it was because of the family of googly eyes starin...

Being a HUGE fan of  any kind of soup with any kind of noodle I decided to give this place a try. Located in Kiulap on the same row as sketchers is Pho Hoa.     Their menu is very small and limited which actually made it easier for us to choose what to order. Two Beef Pho Specials, Please! With An Additional Side Of Fresh & Fried Springrolls! Somehow or rather you'd think a place like this would make their own meatballs, kind of a let down to find out that they were of the frozen variety.  Pretty affordable if you like pho. THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE BEST BURGER JOINT IN ALL OF BRUNEI. Not only are their burgers big, they're also made with fresh made patties!  Not the frozen kind. Which is GREAT! They currently only have two locations, one in Kuilap.  and the other in Giant Rimba. Ran into some problems the night before regarding the times their open and what not, the phone number they listed on their instagram also hits a dead end. The outlet in Kiulap is by far my go to as the staff at the one in Giant is slightly unfriendly.   The atmosphere is pretty western seeing as its an American franchise. They even have these super cool retro posters that gives off a sort of old school diner vibe the kind I only ever saw on classic movies or in Archie Comics. Fresh means FRESH!
