Sungkai Buffets In Brunei - iLotus

As the Ramadhan of 2017 comes to a close, so do all the good buffets so we decided to give it one last hoo-rah.
Trailing right to iLotus.
Hearing all the good reviews and seeing as baiduri cardholders yet again had a discounted advantage, that was definitely where we were going to go!

If you don't already know where iLotus is, you might wanna download the "Waze" application so you don't get lost, cause we almost did!

Located in its own building which can be seen on the rimba-jerudong highway iLotus provides a comfy enviroment, inside and out.

Lets move on to some food pictures.
Hot food line first!

Roasted Chicken
Steamed Prawns
Mixed Vegetables
Fried Noodles
Fried Egg
Beef Brisket
Stir Fried Green Veggies
Japanese Tofu With Mushrooms
Fish.

They also offered something we didn't see at any other buffet, a live station where you get to choose from fresh shellfish to fresh prawns even fresh lamb and choose the way they cook it, from cooking it with sambal to a mongolian sauce.

Each table was provided with some cloth pegs tagged with the table number.

We went straight for the fresh prawns!

We also got some lamb and cuttlefish!
If taking two platefuls of prawns is against the law, then convict us now!

Don't forget to enjoy the thai appetizers and small fried niblets!

Fresh takoyaki for those who love it, cooked on the spot!

Don't forget about the desserts!

ABC
Thai Desserts & Fresh Fruits
Thai Sago Dessert & Jelly
More Thai Sweet Desserts
Fresh Cendol.

To be honest, I forgot what these were called but lets call them the magic-coconut-filled-crepes-that-were-so-crunchy-I-went-back-three-times.
They were so good and crunchy and not overly sweet either, being a diabetic I always have to watch out on my sugar intake but I was extremely pleased that both these crepes and the cendol were not sweet at all!

'Scuse us while we devour this!

Signing off here, with love!
